We just finished a one-hour teleseminar and had a great turn out! I want to thank everyone that showed up to hear it live.
I’ll send out the MP3 link soon and tomorrow I’ll post some of the stuff Randy put me on the spot to do!
If you were on the call, chime in and let me know what you thought. We covered about 1/4 of the questions that were submitted and we’ll be doing this again soon.
Fantastic information and fun to read… this guy gets down and dirty about the seamy underbelly of airlines and as a career traveler, I couldn’t put it down!
If this $25 book doesn’t pay for itself a couple times over on my next flight I’ll be very confused.
It comes with a few other books and I’ll read those on my flight to New York on Sunday. This guy is a great writer and he has a bone to pick and that really drives the text. In fact, I’m looking forward to actually reading it ON an airplane
I haven’t tried the techniques he suggests but they make total sense. I really can’t wait to try the one sentence that ‘knocks $100 off your ticket – instantly’.
Why not, right? I get an airfare buyout of $1,000 on all my contracts so the cheaper my ticket, the more left over!
Creatively written and a gripping read – pick up Save On Airfares Secrets Manual before you book another flight… let me know how it goes… I can’t wait to try some of these tricks!
I wake up at 4:50 AM three days a week. This time of year the temperature up here near Lake Tahoe is usually below 20 degrees.
At 5:30 AM I dive into an outdoor swimming pool (heated to 80 degrees) and spend the next 90 minutes working out real hard with 8 other swimmers. We do just over 2 miles each morning. I have been doing it since 2004 and I am addicted. I hate missing a day when I’m on the road and always look forward to the next swim.
What does this have to do with getting corporate gigs? I’m getting there… [Read more →]
I worked with these guys at a really high-end event a while ago… Wow, they are so damn good live but this video makes a huge mistake by running under a soundtrack. I can see it’s funny. It looks like they are doing some great site gags – and they are – but we can’t hear the words, or the audience response. This reel keeps tossing out surprises, but I feel like I’m watching a Kung Fu movie translated into English…
Seriously, Pluck kicks butt but I’d recommend staying away from a soundtrack if it looks like you are talking or doing audience interaction… I’ve watched producers turn off a lot of videos the second this starts happen.
I took one day of this course to get into something a bit woo-woo and psychological. Was it too much for you?
The power of my thoughts is what drives my actions. Anything I do starts with an idea, followed by belief, followed by step one.
For my first juggling show I got paid a piece of cake and a scoop of ice cream. I have made millions of dollars from doing what I love and it all started with a belief.
Do you ever hear the voices of doubt, tell them to get lost, and go onto achievement?
I do it all the time.
Tell me what you believe. How does it affect your life?
I’ve shared this secret with very few people and now it’s out of the bag. I hope you start to use it because nothing I have done in my career has been responsible for closing more dates.
There is a lot to talk about in the world of price and we barely scratched the surface on this lesson. I want to hear your thoughts on how you determine your price. If you have questions about pricing – let’s talk.
I get into the deepest discussions over this all the time with people working on their promotional material. It’s so easy to list features – but they are boring as watching paint dry.
Let’s hear about your experience in setting yourself apart from the crowd by working the benefits of you.
Today we talked about staying in touch with producers on a regular basis. I wasn’t kidding when I said that this simple step can turn you into a producer’s favorite pick.
Have you done this? Don’t wait – it’s money in the bank.
In the introductory video I asked you to send in your big question(s) about corporate entertainment. I drove you to this blog and told you that any questions you asked would be addressed. So… ask!
